Teen virtual world Gaia Online and mobile payment service provider Zong today announced a deal that introduces the option for Gaia users to purchase the site's virtual currency, Gaia Gold, with their mobile phone number. The agreement will make it significantly easier for the eight million people who visit Gaia monthly to buy virtual currency, and then digital goods, on the site.
