Brad Pitt On His 50's

ukesquire
“God, I want my fifties back,” #BradPitt tells us. “I would do more. Your fifties are just –man, anything that’s on your mind, go. Go attack it. Go attack it now.” In his fifties, Pitt starred in eleven movies, produced seventeen, and won an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor in ‘Once Upon a Time… in Hollywood’. He’s attacking his sixties hard too. Just now he’s coming off two and a half years of continuous work, the longest stretch of his career. There was the release of the blockbuster ‘F1’, including an extended international press tour. Then he shot, in succession, ‘Heart of the Beast’, an intense man-and-his-dog story coming out this autumn, in New Zealand; ‘The Adventures of Cliff Booth’, written by Quentin Tarantino and directed by David Fincher, in which Pitt picks up his Oscar-winning role as a Hollywood stuntman; and, finishing just a few weeks ago, ‘The Riders’, a dark thriller set to come out next year. Pitt, a true Hollywood legend, is the latest cover star of Esquire Edge. Read the interview, in which the actor discusses his new project ‘Heart of the Beast’, wanting his fifties back and ending his sobriety, at the link in our bio.
