CORNER BROOK RNC OFFICER CHARGES

Newfoundland and Labrador's police oversight agency has charged an on-duty RNC police officer with careless weapons storage, following an incident last year in Corner Brook. Const. Peter Kelly has been charged with careless storage of a firearm, ammunition and a prohibited weapon. This follows an incident on November 10 in Corner Brook, says a statement from the Serious Incident Response Team of Newfoundland and Labrador (SIRT-NL) on Monday.
